Terms of Use

By accessing or using ladigital.ca (the "Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

The Site is operated by LA Digital, based in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. LA Digital is operated under the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada.

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict, or inhibit anyone else's use of the Site. Prohibited behaviour includes harassment, posting unlawful content, attempting to gain unauthorized access, or interfering with the operation of the Site.

All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and code — is the property of LA Digital or its licensors and is protected by Canadian and international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission, except where expressly permitted (e.g., personal browsing).

The "LA Digital" name and logo are trademarks of LA Digital.

Prices listed on the Site are starting points in Canadian dollars (CAD). Monthly website plans are billed as an ongoing subscription; larger or fully-custom builds are quoted individually after a discovery call. A proposal is binding only once both parties sign a separate written service agreement.

All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD) and exclusive of applicable taxes, including GST/HST. $499 one-time setup — waived when you pay annually. Monthly plans are billed monthly in advance and may be cancelled at any time effective at the end of the current billing period. Annual plans are a 12-month commitment billed up front, and continue month-to-month afterwards.

One-time custom builds are quoted separately and are governed by their own written agreement, including deposit and milestone terms.

Where we set up payment processing for you, processor fees (typically 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction) are charged by the processor, not by us, and are not part of any fee we quote.

What remains yours. All material you supply — logos, photographs, written copy, and branding — remains your property throughout. Your domain name is yours and is transferable to any registrar or provider at any time. Your business records created through the service, including bookings, customer records, enquiries, and invoices, are yours and are exportable at any time.

What remains ours. The website design, code, and templates we produce, and the booking and calendar platform, are and remain the intellectual property of LA Digital, licensed to you for the duration of your subscription only. They are not assigned, sold, or transferred on cancellation. Clients who require outright ownership of a website should commission a one-time custom build, which is quoted separately and carries its own ownership terms.

On cancellation. Your site remains live until the end of the current billing period and is then taken offline. Your data remains available for export for 30 days following cancellation, after which it is permanently deleted. Material you supplied is returned and our copies deleted. Your domain is unaffected.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LA Digital is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of the Site or our services. Our total liability for any claim related to a paid engagement will not exceed the fees you paid to us for that engagement.

The Site may contain links to third-party websites. We do not endorse and are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or policies of those sites.

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts located in Ontario, Canada.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
